MY UPWARD CALL

Since I saw Jesus as God, I have known God to be Man.
After all, Gods prefer to be addressed as He. So be it.
For sometime I spent days basking in awe of His splendor.
I beheld the grandeur of His profound effect on Man and I adored Him for it.
All this time, He kept me under the proverbial wings of love in timelessness.
I arrived in the sanctuary and abide in the shadows of the almighty.
The journey was painfully tough so my Soul was tiredly distraught. I needed the rest.

But we both knew just sitting around would not be for long.
My visit isn't a casual one. God foreknew that too well to wait up.
Before I arrived the seraphim had laid bare my profile for God's perusal.
It wasn't such a nice story but they were glad it was told anyway.
One thing that kept their eyes fixated on me is my long history of curiosity,
My long-standing rejection of popular creed and of everything dogmatic.
The very traits that ensured my estrangement from the congregation.

In the instance the cloudscapes opened up. The world was but like a dot.
I picked it up and for a moment pitied those still wandering in it.
I looked at God as He stared me quizzically, curious of who I have turned to be.
We began the talk. I had no idea it would take eternity to round it up.
My naivety gave way to, hitherto, the unknown me.
Boldness and audacity inspired me ask one question; and they all stood up!
Everyone looked in my direction as if they feared this might come up.

I asked, "What do Man gain from worshiping you?"
There was a lapse that would last a thousand days in the world of Time.
Silently they all know Man worship God because Man love to worship;
That it is a need in Man to ascend higher than he presently is;
That, Man in his spirit, worship the personal deity who is all-together impersonal;
That it is out of love for God and not for God's commandments; Man obeys no law;
And that, God is how big as Man perceives him in his consciousness. The bigger, the greater.

Yet I heard one of the Gods speak: "But for Man's worship we cease to live.
Our perpetuity is enshrined in Man's worships and fears.
Your God thrives on your worship and love, your Devil make do with your fears and dreads.
Where else can we exist save in The Consciousness of Man?
That's why you were created - to worship and love God; to fear and dread the Devil.
Either way is Man's lot; even for the deluded who refuse my use."
Uttered Hades, the unwelcome guest, no doubt. For He crept in unawares.

  1. I don't understand even a line. Can we communicate? Because i still don't know and understand your God.

  2. Sometimes I wonder what made me write these lines. That's why I gave it that name. It's all an afterlife experience if u know what I mean...

    If you understand me as a person, you definitely understand my God.
