THE RETURN TO LIFE

I woke up with a gasp, surrounded by awe and wonderment
With heads cocked to the side, two crows perch on the pole far away from my window
Two doves sit close to each other on the wires that carry energy
My cat swiftly climbs the bed like he was waiting for my awakening
The kingfisher sends chills of time consciousness every now and then
In the moment I remember the night encounter with the hovering owl
Alone but not lonely, for all these live with me and I with them - together

The crows remind me of my voice: hoarse, huskily deep, penetrating and distinctive
My voice echoes from the deep wells of living waters above which the temple stands
To mount the house-tops so the world can hear me cry with speeches that soothe and warn
Esoteric words of wisdom woven with silky plain black and white calling the lost
Who continue from ancient times to deny their divine lot for that which is vanity
They must hear my cry and hearken to what the spirit says to the lost souls
Salvation is near and to own it we must learn to shape-shift even now

The gentle doves assure me of the undying love the Creator accords my soul
Protection is my cap, peace is my pillow-time partner, love lavishes my desires
A perfect manifestation of both ends as in the yin and yang.
The gate of abundance is always opened to me, I lack nothing
A song so mournful yet powerfully lullabying puts me to rest regardless the turmoil of the times
The ever watchful eye of both my maternal and paternal origins is upon me
Shedding light onto my path, signaling me the tunnel ends in a consuming light.

My cat says mingle with men with no feelings of inferiority
Warmhearted, versatile, intuitive and independent, agility of both body and mind
A stealth hunter for both needs and wants. Self assured and feared by spirits of the dark
Moves with ease between the wild and the domestic; and always land on my feet - despising the fall!
Cleanliness is a luxury turned habit; wiping myself clean after all dirty struggles
Trusted friend who comes upon invitation, and heals Man with a crystal gaze from Spirit
A great lover who attaches secrecy to little acts of love, granting desires of the flesh with sanctity.

Hark! A shrilling pitch of a song from the king of all fishers. The kingfisher seeks my attention
He allows me a close look at his handsomeness. His message is always same - prosperity cometh!
The symbol of peace, prosperity and, again, love; the promise of super abundance
The kingfisher draws me to places beside fresh waters.
On the river banks I shall teach my children how to enjoy life and still prosper
To achieve this, the kingfisher instructs me to dive headlong into my purpose
Never to hide my gift of communication no matter how pitchy the voice is!
