SPIRIT WALK

Last night the owl paid me a visit. Deep in the night as I wandered
Grounded, I stood still to let her draw near. She was beautiful
As fearful as her eyes look, a gaze upon her made me see with her eyes
In the instance the world was in two balls of perfect light, created by the Creator
My world as it begins to end and my world as it ends to begin
The light made me see well, both my worlds are beautiful through those eyes
So I began walking the blue streets of my world as it begins. Hence the spirit walk.

I ascended to the top of loftiest temple and announced my presence
They knew what I seek for they were with me from the beginning
I am a quest seeking answers, answers that quench the quest for free.
In this temple is housed all the calling to the lost souls.
The quest in me brings me here to propitiate for the answers
But the gate keepers were unwilling to open the gate
To grant me hearing they must be sure it is the answers I seek.

The questioner was sent to weigh my words and find me worthy
For to go to the answers, I must meet the standards of the question
And the question is am I the one who has come?
Do I come on  my own authority; or on the dictates of prophecy?
So I must challenge the questioner and be overcome by knowledge.
I must be known for who I am and what I represent; I must declare myself worthy.
I must live the Spirit who is called The I Am That I Am.

In life as Man, I must question the known and bring in the unknown
But even knowledge would not defend me when I began asking my questions.
The academy found me worthy but never really cared to know me
I fought their rules with words, they fought back with inflicting me with torture
For the lost souls to know me, I must be declared lost -  just as they are.
In all forms my life was portrayed as a lost soul calling for attention
Desperate to be noted so he will be attended to in the fulfillment of the prophecy.
